Mr. Weitman has more than 17 years of experience in the design, inspection, and construction of highways and bridges in New York and Connecticut. He received BSCE and MSCE degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a Registered Professional Engineer in NY, CT, and FL. Mr. Weitman joined Berger, Lehman upon graduation where he began his career as a structural engineer. Subsequently he served as Project Engineer, Construction Support Services Manager, and Director of Construction Services, before being appointed President of the firm in 2004 and CEO in 2006.

Mr. Cavaluzzi has more than 36 years of experience with NYSDOT, NYSTA and NYCDOT. Prior to joining BLA as Director of Construction Services, Mr. Cavaluzzi served as the Division Construction Engineer for the NY Division of the Thruway Authority. In that role he was responsible for a $200 million construction program together with the oversight on multiple consultant inspection contracts. Mr. Cavaluzzi has extensive experience managing roadway and bridge projects including utility relocations. His experience and insight into projects of this type are an invaluable asset to Berger Lehman.

Mr. Lin is a Professional Engineer with 24 years of experience; the majority of which is with NYSDOT. He has worked on a range of transportation projects involving bridge rehabilitation/replacement and highway reconstruction, as well as the design of buildings and industrial facilities. His responsibilities on these projects have included in-depth structural inspection, analysis and load ratings, planning, preliminary and final design, detail design and construction support services.

Mr. Starckey has over 35 years of experience in the design of civil, environmental, highway, stormwater management and hydraulics, and traffic engineering projects. He has managed numerous complex highway projects and large-scale multifaceted civil design projects.

Mr. Csanadi has over 27 years of engineering experience in the design and construction of a variety of roadway improvement projects ranging from local streets to the LIE and BQE. He has been responsible for the development of construction plans including horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage improvements, traffic signals and maintenance and protection of traffic for numerous reconstruction projects in New York.
